Question #4: What was the 2006 annual PPP for Vitamins? For Paper?
I went to stats.bls.gov. Under Inflation and Consumer Spending, I clicked on PPI. Then I scrolled down to detailed summaries and most requested data. I clicked on Commodit Data. Then I selected Vitamins and Paper from the list of available data. I clicked on Retrieve Data. I got 2 tables, one for Vitamins (2001-2008) and found that the annual PPI in 2006 was 103.3. The other table was Paper (1998-2008) and found the annual PPI in 2006 was 167.4.

Nigeria Bonny Light 37 $97.00/barrel

Question #8: Can you find me a table showing the mean time spent with a physician? I am interested in the average time an ophthalmologist spends with a patient. I spent a large amound of time wandering around the National Center for Health Statistics. I found the topic "Doctor Visits (Ambulatory Care)" fairly easily as the most likely choice, but had a hard time finding a likely table. Finally I came upon the National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey 2005 Summary. On Table 30, I found the mean time spent with a physician--19.7 minutes and the average time spent with an ophthalmologist to be 17.9.
